cont. Most of the time, the performance data (on 0-60mph and quarter mile time and speed) for the diesels beats those of their gasoline burning counterparts. When you have a 3 liter inline six, direct injected diesel engine that makes 440 ft.lbs. of torque, that’s the kinda torque that breaks CV shafts and eats wheel bearings and burns-up clutch packs on automatics. It’s alot of power for? “normal” drivetrains.
Dude…I knew the “Twin Power Turbo” engines ran strong, and I knew the “is” suffix indicated special mods, usually? in the form of more power. But at 5:47; 332 lb.ft. of torque at/from 1500rpm? Damn, seriously, that torque curve ought to be so flat and straight…man I wish I knew how good all that power felt going through that 8 spd. automatic tranny…And speaking of “Torque” : Those new diesels BMW has (well, OK- EVERYBODY has. You know, the “Blue” prefix that requires the Urea solution)
That “Halo” flicker at 3:22 is one cool effect…y’know- this wouldn’t? be apparent (nor would the computer screen top-down lines you so often see on TV shows) if [you] used a recording camera that used actual film rolls instead of a digital system like the/a CCD or CMOS video converter. My uncle has one of these. Brand new but not convertible. He loves it. I prefer the M3 but these are also nice, now that they have a twin turbo. And at least with? the IS, you get a somewhat sportier suspension and rims and tires. Nice car and nice video.

I highly agree Abi,? the Alpine White color looks absolutely amazing, especially with all of it’s wonderful features, infared keyless entry and power window and sunroof lock. Just look at the ///M badging and 335is in the dash, paddle shifters, 3.0 L Twin Turbo V6, 320 HP, 0-60 in a tick over 5.0s, overboost 375 lbs of torque, beautiful interior, BUT for $56,000, Gotta go with that 2011 Competition Package M3.. but that’s when I can afford one, for now, this is just perfect!
